How OK Lacers Work

Watch this quick 60-second video to see OK Lacers in action.

The easy one-time only shoe lacing technique is explained below. Or download the OK Lacers instruction sheet, which is included with every order.

Shoe Lacing Technique

This is really the key to the invention. In the past, you have always had two long, loose ends to deal with, that naturally had to be tied. With the OK Lacer shoe lacing technique, you create two loops between the top eyelets as shown in the picture. This is done by terminating the shoe laces with a small knot on the inside of the shoe.

Now that we have the loops, we can tighten the shoe laces with a simple clasp, rather than having to tie them.

Installation

The OK Lacer is a two-piece clasp. You thread the loops through the bottom half of the Lacer as shown in the picture to the left. Now simply snap on the top half of the Lacer and you're all set.

The Lacer will now remain connected for the life of the shoe.

Operation

To loosen your laces, simply lift up the top half of the Lacer. This will cause the Lacer to shift to the open postion, allowing the loop to pass freely through the Lacer.

To tighten the laces, simply pull up and out on the two loops to obtain a snug fit. Then press the top down to close the Lacer. That's it!

Lift to loosen - Tug to tighten! Enjoy!

Important note: OK Lacers are specifically intended to work with low cut athletic shoes. They are not recommended for high top shoes or shoes with oversized eyelets.
